My Approach & Services Offered

With my individualized integrative approach I provide therapeutic services using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Person Centered Therapy to those suffering from anxiety, depression, and other mood related disorders.

While being certified in Perinatal and Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders, I am able to provide effective treatment to those struggling through what’s envisioned to be a happy and amazing part of life. After giving birth to my daughter in April, 2020 and going through my own unique postpartum journey myself, I am here to tell you that what you’re feeling is normal, I am here to help you, and I want to give you a safe space to express
and safely explore what you’re experiencing.

Therapy can help you dive deep into those scary feelings and/or thoughts you’re experiencing that you may be afraid to talk about with just anybody. I can help you identify warning signs, help you create an effective treatment plan addressing all of your feelings and/or concerns, develop coping skills to assist you with alleviating these feelings or symptoms, help you make time for some much needed self-care, build a stronger support network, and assist you with developing a road map to this new journey of motherhood.

What to expect

First we will speak for a 15 minute initial clinical consultation where I can help you become comfortable with openly addressing your current experiences and feelings. After having a few individual sessions where I can gain a better understanding and learn more about you, we will develop an effective treatment plan with specific goals we can continue to work on with one another.

Individual sessions

Individual sessions will take place on a weekly basis and are 50 minutes long. I tailor my specific approach to each individual’s needs using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Person Centered Therapy.

My goal is to help you explore any significant history that could be impacting your current experience, identify the severity of your current symptoms, give you a safe place to process what you are currently experiencing, develop coping skills and relaxation skills to assist you in times of need, and build strength within yourself and your support network to create more happiness in your life.

Group sessions

Group Sessions will take place on a weekly basis and are 60-90 minutes long. Groups are something I’ve tended to gravitate towards throughout my clinical experience and I’ve found to be extremely effective for individuals to provide insight and emotional support to one another. Whether you have close friends you can reach out to in times of need or not, I advocate that groups are clinically proven to be helpful for anyone embarking on improving their mental health. 

Telehealth sessions

Telehealth sessions will be offered, please disclose in original contact form if you wish to do virtual. They will take place on a weekly basis and are 50 minutes long. I understand balancing a schedule and motherhood can be a challenge, so I would like to be able to support you in any way I can.
